The Garden Project 2019
Using the 2019 Women's Heart Symposium's green bags, Dr. Terri Rock worked with a community garden in Oxnard to address food insecurity. They built herb planters, refurbished outdoor furniture, and built an outdoor bookcase complete with donated books. They ended the day with a children's garden party with crafts, music, and food to celebrate the end of the project.
